No worries, I'll provide a patch in a branch.
libusbx in /lib is necessary when there are things that need that lib at early
boot and /usr is unavailable (ie a separate filesystem). --libdir=/lib
suffices, but then everything is installed to /lib, and the .so symlink, .la
and .a (if a static-lib is installed) don't need to take up space in /lib since
they're only needed for building/linking.
