Hey all,

I posted a question a while back about https and proxy breaking
after the y2k rollover with netscape proxy server. I don't have
the capability of changing the proxy server and so I asked for a
workaround for libwww. I got a set of patches from David Worenklein
that partially fixed the problem. I can get out through the firewall
now, but I get errors when I encounter and https redirect. I can't
seem to find the error in the code and was wondering if anyone else
has a workaround that implements proper proxy behavior in LWP instead
of creating a reverse tunnel like the current code.
Failing that, is there an interested guru out there who could help me
debug?
My perl code works fine if it's not behind a firewall and worked fine
behind the firewall until the y2k rollover when the Netscape y2k bug
came to the forefront.
Behind the firewall I'm running Activestate perl on an NT box.

Thanks,

Tony Ozzello
