Greetings,

  I am considering infringing on and/or participating in your
  namespace and the exhortations on CPAN and common decency
  suggest I should discuss this in the proper forum.

  I have written a module I've been calling HTML::FormatLynx.
  This inherits from HTML::FormatText and serves some of the same
  purpose. It's major advantages are

        1) it supports tables
        2) it can generate non-table HTML suitable for ingestion by
           lynx or other table-impaired browsers

  I have been using this module for some time to generate
  lynx-friendly versions of my table-based HTML. Together with
  a simple script, I use it on my web server to dynamically
  translate tables to table-free HTML.

  The module is currently available at:

    ftp://ftp.arp.harvard.edu/pub/nort/HTML-FormatLynx-0.02.tar.gz

  I am only now in the process of applying for a CPAN ID. Do
  y'all have any comments/objections/suggestions to my uploading
  this into the HTML arena?
