Manually use Netscape - entering your userid and password like you normally
do to get outside. Then fire up your script to go through the door that
was opened by Netscape. If the proxy server looks at protocol (http) and
IP (your local machine), then these should be the same - thus your script
should look the same as Netscape requesting a second external page.
Is my understanding of your system correct?
