Not seeing a reply yet, maybe this will help.

1. I don't see HTTP/1.x at the end of your GET request. (I am not able to test
the effect of this omission so it may not matter. Or maybe your program is
sending it but not printing it.)

2. Try adding a Host: header. (Patch has been recently discussed on this
list.)

3. The User-Agent header is also required although yours works fine.

Example 1 gives a cookie when Host and User-Agent are present. Example 2 has
no UA and no cookie. Example 3 has no Host and no cookie:

Subject: Cookie Issue

I've got a script put together using LWP v5.47 and I am utilizing the
cookies module. I seem to be having a problem accessing www.nordstrom.com
which is using cookies. (not that I'm big on shopping, nordstrom just turned
out to be a test site). I can access other sites that use cookies ok, but
nordstrom is giving me problems. I go to get the page and I end up receiving
a page that says my browser must be able to support cookies.

Using Netscape to access www.nordstrom.com, you end up at
http://www2.nordstrom.com/shop/Default.asp, and with cookie warnings turned
on, Netscape shows a number of cookies being set.

I'm wondering if with the redirects nordstrom is also sending cookies. But
looking at the responses, I see the redirects but no cookies except for the
very last response which has a cookie. The requests and responses are below.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Thanks,
Bernie
