Hi.

I have been using libwww for measuring the response times of various URLs.  Recently, after the redirect from http://www.hotmail.com to http://lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login, I have not been able to successfully
access the hotmail URL.  Using the simplest lwp-request program:

lwp-request.pl http://www.hotmail.com

or

lwp-request.pl http://lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login    (the redirected URL)

both result in the following error:

<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>An Error Occurred</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY>
<H1>An Error Occurred</h1>
500 Internal Server Error
</BODY>
</HTML>

However, if I telnet into lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com on port 80 and do a GET /cgi-bin/login, I am
able to retrieve the site contents.  Using a Web browser, of course, also does not give any problem.

Does anybody know why libwww cannot handle this case?
