Hi, as far as I understand LWP::UserAgent will return HTTP error codes for whatever happens. My problem is, how to distinguish between these errors?
When I try to retrieve a HTML page I and the hostname can't be resolved or the network is down and the host can't be reached I get HTTP code 500. How can I know this code is from my client and not from the server? I really don't care what the error was, but if the error is from the client or the server. Probably a faq, but I didn't find anything in the man pages, Google groups didn't give any usable result.
