I hope this is of use to someone out there.

Caveats:
(1) This works (mostly) for me for what I needed to do.
I've probably taken some shortcuts or made some
assumptions that may not generalize well, particularly
in the handling of the various types of redirects. Your
mileage may vary.
(2) I am not a perl expert; there are probably lots of
better ways to do what I've done. Any (constructive)
suggestions are appreciated.
(3) I would particularly appreciate any help on getting
the "replay" function to work. You'll need to comment
out the "die" at the top of this function to play with
it.
(4) I've tested only on the latest version of cygwin
running on Windows 2000. I don't know of anything I've
done that should limit it to this platform, but YMMV.
(5) This script depends on quite a few CPAN modules;
see the "uses" near the top.
(6) If you make improvements/fixes, please send me a
copy if you can.

Regards,
David
