Hi, I have a stupid question.
How do I verify that the web server is up and running before making an HTTP request to it (using LWP)? I would like to do this and identify the server state, so I can notify the admin that the web server is down. Is there any inbuilt method available in LWP for this? So what is best way of doing it? Your ideas and help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Raghu
