Is the package (rather than 'upstream' release) version the same across
your various boxes? Perhaps redhat applied a patch at some point. I
don't remember exactly how redhat packages are versioned, but debian
packages usually have a version like x.y.z-n, where x.y.z is the upstream
release version and n is the package version.
Hi john, thanks for thee suggestion. There was a slight discrepancy, but that wasn't the issue...
It turns out that I had not correctly configured the timezone on the box after my recovery from a backup. After setting the timezone correctly, everything works fine.
