I'm just getting started with libwww and Mechanize and having troubles with radoi buttons. I've not found any place on the web where I might search the libwww archives for click and radio. I've grabbed the first 1000 messages plus 3001-3200 but not found an answer.
I'm trying to scrape new jobs from the CalJobs site. <https://www.15jobs.cahwnet.gov/scripts/runisa.dll?JOBS:JSLogin> I've managed to login and work my way through several screens to the screen with half a dozen radio buttons on it for the several preconfigured searches I've set up that hopefully will find all jobs that an electronics tech might have a chance at. The first radio button is already selected so I can go on to that search's job list and examine those jobs. It's getting to the other searches I'm having trouble with. There are 6 elements on the page like this with only the value differing. <input type="radio" name="rdoMySearch" value="265713" > and this statement finds them with no problem. my @radio_buttons = $response->content =~ /radio.*?rdoMySearch" value="(\d*)/g; # my @forms = $mech->forms(); shows only 1 form my $form = $mech->current_form(); my @radios = $form->find_input( 'rdoMySearch', 'radio' ); # print "#radios=", $#radios ; shows only 1 button my $radio = $form->find_input( 'rdoMySearch', 'radio', 2 ); returns error I've found so little discussion on the web and the list archives I've examined so far that it must be simple but I've struggled with this for a couple days with no luck.
