Reciently I've seen in the official ICQ client that you can set your own personal status, besides the usual online/away/etc. I don't use it and I don't have a windows computer where I can try it, but I believe that when a user is in this status, in licq we see him/her as online and "phone follow me" status is set as busy. I'm not sure about this, I´ll try to do some more research. If anyone has access to an official client, would be nice to confirm this behaviour. In the meantime, I'll ask some friends who use Mirabilis ICQ. Cheers.

I just fixed the issue in the current SVN. User status changes are marked only as USER_STATUS. For Phone Follow Me, ICQPhone, and Shared Directories, the status changes are sent with a subsignal of USER_PLUGIN_STATUS (just created this in r4638. > btw, what is this phone follow me status about ? It's from the Mirabilis ICQ. It lets users know the physical location you are at. For example, if you use ICQ at home, work and a friend's house the phone number you can be reached at will differ (Who isn't using a cell phone these days??) and the "follow me" is that they can know how to reach you (via a land line or a cell phone if you have a different cell phone at each location [therefore reducing the convience of a cell phone]). Quite useless, but it is a plugin for ICQ.. so perhaps someday useful plugins will be released and we can support those easily.
