I use it on a regular basis and I agree it's probably the most complete free MSN implementation. I think they're working on v2.0, which is a complete rewrite of the code to make it more modular and easier to add plugins and stuff. I believe some of the plugins are written in C, so it wouldn't be too hard to merge them into licq, but I' not really sure about this. Just my 2 cents.
