Hello,
I'm using the latest stable licq version 1.2.0a with SSL support.
When starting up, licq cannot properly login at the next ICQ login
server (see below). The same version and same configuration works
on another (slower) machine. The same binary also works on this
machine when running it via strace -f.
This makes me believe that licq suffers from some sort of race
condition between threads that surfaces whenever threads run in a
particularly unfortunate order.
I'm using Linux 2.4.20-pre5, gcc 3.2 and glibc 2.2.5.
I've previously used gcc 2.95.3 with the very same problem.
