hi,

currently i'm using a quite old licq version - 1.2.7 cvs from 31st july 2003.

the reason for this were some patches that i have applied and that i don't need the
new msn/aim features. everything i need works very well (tabbed chatting), but some
things e.g. long messages are split up randomly in history and chatview, made me think
of upgrading.

i have the "mega"-patch (phonebook, ...) from dima, the typeahead patch and a modified
chatview-history patch (http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=4452256)
for this cvs version applied.

now that i'm also reading licq-cvs i saw that dima's patch has been applied i wanted
to ask, whether the chatview history patch or another similar solution will make it
into current? i really love that feature, can't live without it.

i also don't know at the moment if it is already in current, but the typeahead patch
(searching the contactlist when typing a name) is also quite handy if one has *many*
contacts (heading to 800 now, and licq is still working fine *g* except for the
already discussed limitations)

thx for any input,
JG
