Hey there,
here's a scenario showing an odd behaviour when there are several incoming MSN messages. It's a minor issue but I think that it's a little bit unexpected, at least it doesn't work for MSN as it does for ICQ (there might be good reasons anyway). The idea is to receive 2 messages from a MSN contact, but not to open then until they are both arrived. Each message must have been sent from a different chat sessions by the remote contact: - remote user sends message #1, then closes the dialog (conversation is then closed) - remote user now sends another message #2 - on licq's side, you could have heard the two incoming messages, now dble-click on the contact name in the list - you only see the 1st message (messages from the first conversation in fact) and the other ones are still on the stack as "incoming", the contact still flashes - so you have to click on the contact name as many times as he started conversation on his side, that's the main boring thing IMO, it would be better to see all incoming messages as for ICQ), since there have not been replied immediately, we shouldn't be annoyed w/ this per-conversation-session splitting. But maybe it's a feature? Regards, -- wwp ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
