Hey there!

LICQ is without a doubt _the_ ICQ client to use.
However, I have been experiencing problems sending messages. From mailing
lists and news I figured this was about protocol incompability.
I also understand that there is a compatible protocol version working for
LICQ, but only available in CVS snapshot.

When is a stable release with a working protocol planned?
I feel that LICQ is worthless unless you can actually send messages (any
ICQ client without sending capabilities is virtually useless), which means
protocol compability should be the number one priority.

Furhter more, LICQ is the kind of high quality application that makes
Linux the number one user platform!

Best regards, Peter!
