Yes, I can do that, on my job i'm behind 2 firewalls with linux using ipchains -j MASQ, and at my home also i behind a firewall (to share the connection with my brother) and also i use ipchains.... i see all people, they can see me, i can send message directly (to some people i can't, but with most of they i can), and they can send me messages directly (again, some people can't, and others can)
