OK... that's a nice idea for developers I guess, to maintain that 
history, but can someone please explain why there is still no CVS server 
online? If only for a temp solution... forget about that history for the 
moment... you can always add that later, right? I've seen all those 
patches (most missed by me are auth request & user info), so please 
release a new snapshot or set up some server where we can get it from! I 
don't care about the history, and I think no regular users do, but I do 
care about those new features.

So please dump the latest on that sourceforge cvs server, then we can 
happily compile new versions, and aS soon as you get a response from 
sysadmin from that server which is down you can always put that online as 
well. Just waiting for that sysadmin to answer your mails can take ages.
