Sorry if this subject has already been beat to death, but I was wondering if someone could help me connect to an icq account.
We are both behind hardware firewalls (using NAT). His ICQ (an older version) is set to low security. We can sometimes send and recieve messages, but the connections seems very random, as messages are lost more often than not. My licq sends directly through the sever, and I experimented with the "allow direct connections", both allowing and denying. My network window claims that it sends the message, then I get an AWK response, which I think means that the other miribalis icq server got it. I have another computer that I have an icq account on, and it actually gives me similar problems. I have never tried to reach anyone else though icq so I don't have anything else to test it on.
