Hello,
sometimes i find it anoying that i can not reduce the size of the message window
smaller than the actual minimum.
So it happens for example when i work in a window and also want to be able to
read
incoming messages in the licq message window without changing focus.
I read a simliar thread here requesting to point to the appropriate source code
part
which would also be a solution for me.

Another solution and what i want to suggest would be:
To implement a new option with which one can switch between two message window
modes:
  - The standard message window like it is now.
  - A spartanic message window with just the things of capital importance and
    a space optimized alignment.
    * shrinking the message window by changing texts like "Send throug server"
with
a small icon and rearrange them.
    * shrinking it by removing texts like "Status:"
    * shrinking it by reducing button sizes like "send" or the color buttons or
even
the "secure channel" and "history" and "info" buttons.
--> would lead to a tripartite message window: on top the send/received
messages
in the middle the message input window and at the bottom one line of the
        items reduced in size.

I am no programmer and i do not want to be too brash with my desires.

best regards
-chan
