New description:

 There does not appear to be any way to disable mesage colours in licq
 1.0.2.

 There should really be a configuration option to control whether a message
 is displayed in standard colours or whether the colours specified by the
 remote user should be used.

 OK, so maybe I don't like reading black-on-red, or green-on-purple and
 whatever else the weird people I talk to manage to come up with. :(
