I have looked into this more then once but I havn't been able to find any
solution.
I thought it was related to which thread Qt consider as the main thread,
but r6574 did not make the text appear. So either it's thread independant
or the problem lies earlier, i.e. due to the plugin being created and
initialized in the daemon thread and then run in the plugin thread.
