New description: I have 2 systems based on SuSE 8.1. On both i have a problem with licq (1.2.6-1). When the clipboard programm klipper stores a new URL (for instance if i mark the website adress in mozilla before replacing it by typing another), licq crashes in case i try to open the message dialog in order to send somebody a message. Of course, the URL dialog does open - and does freeze. Sometimes for just 4-5 seconds, sometimes "for ever". It has also happend, that i was not able to navigate in kde anymore, and therefore i had to shutdown the server (killing the licq process via tty/Console did not help). One possible solution is not to use klipper maybe. -- Comment: Closing old ticket.
