Hello again, I just tested my new compiled licq against miranda with up to date icq plugin 0.3.7.6 unicode version. Miranda correctly send's his CAP flags (as I could see with micq before) but there's no option to override encoding per user. I have just 2 checkboxes (for ICQ plugin). First is "Enable unicode messaging support" to generally activate unicode messages. (It's set.) Second is "Send all messages in Unicode if possible". (Also checked.) The dropdown below is for choosing a default codepage for ansi <-> unicode conversion.
In licq I set my dropdown to UTF-8 and all messages from and to Miranda look fine. In Miranda only outgoing messages are ok, incoming messages are, as with micq above, not correctly decoded. Again the question: a Miranda problem with decoding or licq sending something wrong? Seems to me, that setting CAP_UTF8 is not enough since miranda and micq understand each other without problems or even codepage overrides. Greets Alex
