Hello, I used to get a lot of spam from the users not in my contact list, but I enabled the option Misc->Paranoia->Ignore New Users and I am no longer getting messages from unknown users.
But I am still getting a lot of spam (probably because my ICQ number is quite low - 7 digits) in authorization requests. I noticed that I only get spam when I am visible (online, away or NA for example) and do not get any when I am Invisible. So I'd like to ask for a feature - I am visible for all users in my contact list (or it could be configurable for every user), and invisible for all the other users. I found out recently that one of the Windows ICQ clients has such feature. Another small problem - auth. request window is smaller than ordinary chat window, and if a message from a user comes after I closed auth. request window, the message window is of the size of auth. request window. If I close and reopen chat window, it becomes of its normal size again. Could this please be fixed so that if I open chat window after closing auth. request window, it's size is normal and not the size of auth. req. window size? I am using licq compiled from svn of Feb 13 2007. And finally thanks a lot for licq, I use it (with Window Maker dock icon) for more than 5 years. Regards, Nerijus
