I am trying to get started with Scala and Lift over here (newbie alert of course), but the download page has no Linux installers or downloads available and it's not in the Ubuntu repos either.
Is there a simple way to just get the Lift libraries without having to get knee deep into maven (I know it's a staple for the Lift community, but I have mixed feelings about it personally).
