Agreed on all fronts. Points 1 -> 4 are pretty key for me and the  
projects that run on lift at work.

So, the million dollar question: ETA's of this stuff? Scala 2.8.2  
(based on our previous conversation about not using 2.8.0) is still  
some time off right?
