I've looked at the Archlinux reports. All of them are closed as fixed.
This does _not_ appear to be issue 1714 as stated above, but rather issue
1637 (which also is fixed by now by virtue of a proper version of fontforge
being used in LilyDev and being required by the configure scripts).
