This actually looks rather elegant to me. It definitely shows the
prescription without being obnoxious about it. The mathematician in me
would want the inner rectangle sides to be curved proportionally to their
distance from the center (so that the whole shape is warped homogenously
from the straight version), but it is doubtful one would really notice the
difference: the short lines from the inner rectangle don't have much of a
length to show the curvature, and the long lines from the inner rectangle
are rather close to the center and so would get a rather small curvature
anyway.
