I've gone through the examples listed here to see how they come out after
issue 3330, and it would appear that pretty much everything looks
reasonable.
The example in comment #13 does not backspace material over preceding
material when using a negative translation. That's pretty much expected
given the semantics implemented by issue 3330 and seems fairly reasonable.
