Advantages make it worth. Just some commtents:

- the language for commands is English, these keywords are in different languages:
\language "deutsch"
^ English ^ German

This is a logical need if you want to specify a language as written in itself.

 - problem: "français" needs a utf8 char ç

This is no problem for those who most likely will use this feature for specifying their own preferred language. Also, español needs an ñ

- "espanol" is a valid note-name language, "francais" isn’t

Espanol should never have existed IMO, it is a nonexistent word.
