I fully second that. I already defined a music function for emulating what
is called a SubTempoMark here and my naming suggestion is AgogicMark (and
\agogicMark), which well describes the meaning. Correspondingly, it would
be AgogicSpanner (\startAgogicSpanner and \stopAgogicSpanner would be a
little less monstrous than the same with SubTempo). These sound more
musical, less technical than SubTempo… .
