  That's ok. it was actually to the lilypond-user mailinglist. checking the 
archives is nice because you can often find a great response, but can do so 
faster.
  I'll admit that I've had a few times where color would have been good for 
school. I've heard that the program called Sibelius can do color but I 
haven't used the software. I already like lilypond's output better. I also 
found other ways to express everything clearly without color to get done what 
I needed to.
