Re: default MetronomeMark #padding

There is nothing about the Metronome Mark in the Changing Defaults chapter. 
I have already ready the documentation. I figured out how to move it up or 
down, but not left or right. In general, I think it would look better over 
the time signature instead of over the first note.

Is this for a one-time project, or in general?
For a one-time use, please read the "Changing Defaults" chapter.
In general, I thing this is a bad idea.  It might look nice for the 
initial tempo marking,
but any tempo markings in the middle of a piece would look odd.
