Hi guys, Yesterday, I did another another bugfixing round (the results of which are in .55). I'll probably do another one to resolve the tie/completion-heads issues, but after that, I think we're ready for 2.12. I think this will happen within a month.
I used to prepare releases carefully by writing a nice blurb, selecting where to post the announcements, eagerly watching download stats, etc, but I am currently so blase and short on time that I am very much tempted to just branch off a stable/2.12 and build and push a 2.12.0 release like I am used to doing with 2.11. This is probably the first release of lily that has more commits from non-Han-Wen people, and I would be more than happy to delegate writing release notes and (optionally) the 2.12 manual preface to anyone who interested in doing so. I imagine that our GDP heroes -fluent writers as they are- have no trouble whipping up entertaining release notes! thanks, -- Han-Wen Nienhuys - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanwen _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
