No, I don't accept your apologies ;-) To the contrary: It is important to 
discuss stuff! After all, it is quite possible to have a civilized discussion 
here on lilypond-devel (even though at times things seem to heat up 
unnecessarily).

Just because someone suggests something different from what I'm proposing 
doesn't mean he is wrong or that he tries to diminish the value of my thoughts 
or my work. To the contrary, your comments made me think once again how the 
commands are exactly supposed to work.

In this case, I had good facts (and thus good arguments). In other cases, I 
don't, and then we can find a solution together.

No, in this particular case, it was better to clear up all confusion now, 
since they are quasi-new commands (undocumented/unsupported before, so we 
could easily change them...).
