In fact, we literally have thousands of cases:

5103

GDP only covered about 30% of the docs, and didn't strictly
enforce the doc policy even within those areas, that's not a good
reason to change the policy.

+1.  In the GDP'd parts of the NR there are only 7 exceptions.
(and in vocal none :)

Further, many if not all of the exceptions will be within @multitable,
where it is sensible to have @item foo.
