When I implemented \compoundMeter, I only had the classical meters in mind (i.e. denominators are powers of 2, all enumerators are (possibly sums of) integers, and there are no double fractions). I haven't looked at the code, but I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be possible to extend that to non-power-of-2 denominators. Double fractions and real numbers in the enumerator pose more problems, because in these cases I have no idea how to determine the beat structure... (e.g. in #'(1 4 3 8), eights are automatically beamed as c8 c[ c c c] c[ c c]. How would you beam #'(3.33332 8)? ) Cheers, Reinhold -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Reinhold Kainhofer, reinh...@kainhofer.com, http://www.kainhofer.com * Financial & Actuarial Math., Vienna Univ. of Technology, Austria * http://www.fam.tuwien.ac.at/, DVR: 0005886 * Edition Kainhofer, Music Publisher, http://www.edition-kainhofer.com _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
