Very interesting, thank you for the example.
I don't have the possibility to print it where I currently am, but I
have two observations:
I would probably vote for slightly smaller roundings, as I find it a
little clumsy as it is. Maybe this is due to the fact that we _are_
doing digital engraving.
If you do not have a postprocessing of _all_ intersections as Werer
suggested it looks slightly unnatural to have that "metal" factor in the
font itself.
But it's definitely an interesting approach.
