Well, if you ever are in Italy, you'll marvel at their pride of tunnel
digging.  Many tunnel entries on the roads don't just have a speed limit
sign but attached to it a remark "A fine tunnel".  Presumably you are
supposed to drive slowly enough to take in all the marvels of the
tunnel.
