Would take at least a week or so but I'm on holiday :) ... though for commenting on the issues, you don't need special permission and, IMHO, that's much more productive because it goes into a single system than sending one email per issue. Granted, you cannot close them directly but usually that's then very easy for somebody in the team to do.
