  I did not read your email message carefully enough.

  Your development release for MacOS arm64 of Lilypond version 2.25.32
works fine for me (only did a file ./lilypond and ./lilypond
--version).

  However, my MacOS version is 26.2 (Tahoe).

  So, I guess my test was not helpful.
