Hi Donald, I tried to access the ftp site via ftp and had a problem connecting, but using http protocol was fine. I'm assuming that the doc's for 2.1 will be found with the source at this location which is up: http://www.lilypond.org/ftp/v2.1/ Or, easier still, you can get it from here: http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.1/Documentation/out-www/ which is also up. Maybe you had a temporary connection problem that is now resolved?
