I've just started using LilyPond, and got into some trouble trying to insert dynamics to a piano piece.
Right now I'm attaching the dynamics to the right-hand staff and using DynamicLineSpanner to set them apart from the staff, to a position where they are more or less aligned. Like so:

\override DynamicLineSpanner #'staff-padding = 4

\Dynamics

}Then I wanted to add a "meno f", following the tip in the documentation (dynamic-extra.ly):
\markup { \italic "meno" \dynamic "f" }
but that doesn't get aligned with the dynamics. I couldn't find anything to do that in the documentation except \raise, which I couldn't get to work.
How do I align the "meno f" with the rest of the dynamics?
