you might as well write (define pair-or-rational? pair?) since (or pair?
rational?) allways evaluates to
pair? ...
Do you want
(define pair-or-rational? (thing)
(or
(pair? thing)
(rational? thing)))
Of course. It’s been a while since I wrote the code, and obviously I
didn’t have the necessary understanding of scheme then…
