There is a tracker issue for it and some discussion. The current state is somewhat misleading as well as inconsistent, so change is desirable. There does not seem to be a high level of excitement for fixing this among those who discussed it. That makes it likely that any action will take a while before the topic reaches the top of the importance list for any of the usual suspects.
