Right now I'm using some alternate bar lines to specially mark off specific passages in a piece like so:

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\version "2.19.53"

% extra bar lines (optional bars)
\defineBarLine "[" #'("" "[" "")
\defineBarLine "]" #'("]" "" "")

{ c' \bar "[" c' c' \bar "]" c' }
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

However, I find these barlines are a bit heavy in certain circumstances, especially the vertical line portion. I'd like to define a bar line which has a similar shape, but has a lighter feel (thinner lines). How would I go about doing this?
