The file makam.ly does not transpose correctly, cf. the thread [1]. It is possible to typeset correctly in other ETs, for example E53, cf. [2] for Arabic maqam in Helmholtz-Ellis notation. The traditional Arabic notation cannot capture all microtones, cf.
