Yeah, assuming internet access is not so nice. README.git should at least contain enough information to get INSTALL.txt generated without needing online access, so that if you were to, hypothetically, get stuck on a desert island without an internet connection (but somehow still have your PC with you and a power source for it), you could in theory compile a fresh checkout of lilypond. T -- Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. -- Brian W.
